At the Agriturismo Podere La Fornace you can enjoy the delicious typical Tuscan meals made with homegrown products, cultivated by the owner and cooked as the ancient recipes of Tuscan tradition want, together with the fine wines produced from grapes grown in the farm vineyard.
You will discover a genuine, simple and balanced cuisine strictly related to the land which generates its products.
Not only potatoes, tomatoes, honey, pumpkins, zolfini beans and lemons! You can taste the excellent red and white wines of the farm and savor the fragrance of the oil produced with the olives of the trees grown in the land of the estate.
The flagship of the Beni family is the “Amaro” of the Agriturismo Podere La Fornace. In 1860 the botanist of the family, Francesco Beni, started to produce a digestif, a typical after-dinner Italian liqueur, composed by 13 natural herbs. Even today, after more than 150 years, the descendant Natale produces the Amaro with the same characteristics, the same natural products and the same procedure.
Furthermore, the Agriturismo gives you the chance to organize lunches and dinners for special events such as First Communions, marriages, baptisms and more, and waits for you to celebrate Christmas, New Year…and every other day of the year!
